BDO Malaysia ‘Recycling Day’: Campaign GHG Report

A recycling day campaign organized by Zero Waste Earth Store (ZWES) for BDO Malaysia took place on 26th May 2023 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. More than 630 kg of recyclable materials were collected, including paper, mixed plastics, e-waste, metals, glass, fabrics, cooking oil, etc. By diverting the waste from landfills and reducing the need for manufacturing products from virgin materials more than 2.6 metric tons of greenhouse gas were avoided and reduced.

Reduced GHG Emissions Report: Recycling Day

A series of ‘Recycling Day’ campaigns organized by Zero Waste Earth Store (ZWES) took place from January to May 2023 in Klang Valley, Malaysia. 13’850 kg of recyclable materials were collected, including paper, mixed plastics, e-waste, metals, glass, fabrics, used cooking oil, and others. Avoided greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions were quantified by Sustainable Scenario, and Reduced GHG Emissions Report was published to establish the awareness of the connection between waste and climate change.
