At BDO perfectly aware that a recycling campaign plays a crucial role in mitigating greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, which are a significant driver of climate change. By encouraging and facilitating recycling, the campaign helps reduce the need for manufacturing products from virgin materials.
The production of goods from raw materials requires significant amounts of energy, often derived from fossil fuels, which release GHGs into the atmosphere. Furthermore, by diverting plastic waste from landfills and preventing it from entering waterways and oceans, the recycling campaign helps combat plastic pollution
